2015 term 4 precise nouns.

This week in writing we have been using precise nouns to make our writing more specific for the reader.

We took a paragraph and changed the nouns from general nouns to precise nouns.

Here is an example.

In the weekend I had to do lots of shopping with my Mum at the Warehouse . We went to the shop diary to get some food. We also went to look for a present for my cousin’s birthday tomorrow . I had to choose between a doll and a soft toy. After that we went to the shop to buy some clothes, I got two new items and a pair of shoes. Because I had been so good, mum took me to the shop burger king to buy an ice block. Lucky me!

In Flox class we have been making imovie. First we had to plan it before we can video it. When we recorded our Te reo Maori conversation we have been using this app called i movie. The people I worked are Roman Tui Cecelia and we learned to speak in Maori.

Student conference

Tonight we have student conferences with our families to share our learning. Here are my goals for this term.
